The holidays went by so fast this year.. December 21st me and Jeremy braved the 8 hours road trip down to Tallahassee, FL. We had dinner with "Gramps", my Aunt Joyce & Uncle Al, and Mom. It was a great time to catch up with them all on their recent events happening in their lives and they were so impressed with Jeremy and absolutely loved meeting him and getting a chance to really get to know him. The next day we woke up and drove all the way to West Palm Beach. That was another 6 hours, and a longgg drive! It was so nice to finally get to West Palm and see all my family. It has been hard to not be able to see them throughout the pregnancy so it was really nice to catch up with them!
The next day my family threw us our first Baby shower :) It was such a blessing to be able to share the excitement with them! We got so much stuff that we weren't expecting and now we have a good start to the things we will need soon! :) The next day we spent time up in Boondoggle at my Uncles property where he has a Palm tree farm and a lake...the weather was beautiful,we played cards and some braved the cold water and waterskied!
Christmas morning was just so much fun! I cherished every moment I had with my Grandpa "Papap" he is turning 90 this summer!
These Holidays have been such a wonderful reminder of how blessed we are with our families, friends, and each other. This past year it just seemed as if we had one big celebration after another and I can only imagine the amazing things we will celebrate in 2011!!
As I look back on all the things that have brought on stress and anxiety I realize that now those things are so minimal and don't even matter. They have been worked out and things just have fallen into place and I know that it is a God thing!
