Tuesday I went to my 37 week doctors appointment! Baby Max is snug in my big belly and I was able to get an estimated weight! He (on Tuesday) was about 5.5 pounds which is smaller than what I was thinking but my midwife told me that she doesn't expect him to come out any bigger than 7-8 pounds (thank God!) I can't believe that we have scheduled the LAST two doctors appointments until Max is here! As I was scheduling them the secretary was saying "oh, we may not even make it to the second one but might as well schedule it" and it hit me, wow he really could come any minute now! He could also be late...right now it is just a waiting game.
Jeremy was finally able to come to the appointment and he was just blown away by all the information that was being thrown at us! He is getting more and more excited, he is so cute with Max...he talks to him all the time now and this whole thing is getting more and more real for all of us. I have been so blessed with an incredible easy pregnancy (so far) I can only hope that the labor/delivery process will be stress/worry free.
This week was our spring break and it has been such a busy week!! I worked and finished my practicum for one of my special education classes. That was an experience in itself, and God showed me so much! I was bummed about having to do this practicum at all and in the end God showed me what I needed to see and used me through the two days I was there to show Christ to fellow teachers and students (without me even having to "preach" to them). So looking back I am so glad I had to do this practicum, it helped open my eyes to reality...sometimes it is sad what goes on with these children at inner city schools but it makes you thankful for what you have and the family I have been blessed with. It also gives me a new found respect for teachers, especially those who are in the inner city. Maybe that is something I would like to do one day, work with children who are inner city, not necessarily a teacher but maybe. I will keep praying daily for what God's will is for my life since I am still not sure what I want to be when I "grow up" and until then I will just trust that he is going to provide for our little family :)
30 Day Challenge
Day 04 - A picture of your favorite night.
It was hard to pick pictures from my favorite night, many of my "favorite" nights haven't been caught on film unfortunately. BUT this one was up in the top 10: Valentine's Day 2010. The first one I spent with Jeremy, and it was perfect.

He completely surprised me with these, always told me giving flowers was "overrated" so I not even expecting them! |
