It snowed :)

Last night it SNOWED! YES I am excited because I missed the whole "White Christmas" that everyone else had.
The snow is absolutely beautiful.
& don't worry I will be posting pictures later. :)

I am now 29 weeks and in the second week of my 3rd trimester!!!

Little Max :)

This month little Max is the size of a squash!

"Baby's energy is surging, thanks to white fat depositing beneath his skin. And since he's growing so fast (weight will triple by birth), things are getting kind of cramped in the womb. What all this means for you: Get ready for some more kicks and jabs to the ribs." -thebump.com

This weekend I was L-A-Z-Y and I don't care because this week is going to be hectic...school starting back up, work schedule changing AND I am going to attempt to actually do some physical exercise, don't worry nothing too crazy just going and walking on the treadmill or doing 20-30 minutes on the elliptical. I hear that it is much easier to get back into shape after having a baby if you were active during the pregnancy...guess we will see how that works... maybe this time I will actually keep up with the work out like I have been with blogging. :)

I have started to look for some different full-time jobs around Nashville for after graduation, not much luck but have my resume out there! That is just something that will have to be put on hold until May and I am not going to worry about it because for right now I have a wonderful job, a cozy little apartment, and a car that works! We are so blessed.

I went and saw the doctor on Friday, everything is just perfect! Little Max has a strong heartbeat, all my weight is in the right place, and there is nothing to worry about. My doctor actually thinks that I will have a stubborn little boy who may not even come until AFTER my due date, yea..big surprise there :). I had to take a glucose test and drink this nasty sugar drink that tasted like watered down Sprite...and it wasn't that bad at first but then it got super sweet towards the end and I was NOT feelin' it! Then they had to take like 5 tubes of blood...and have I mentioned at I am not a fan of needles...my doctor doesn't feel like the results will be anything negative it is just a precaution they take! we will find out though at our next appointment.

Homework from my doctor: create a birth plan. Which in itself is just so detailed that I am not really even sure what I want or don't want...I've never had a baby before! Guess I will be doing a little extra research on some of those things...pre-registering at Vanderbilt and maybe taking a little tour here soon! It is just so crazy to think that in just a few weeks our lives will be changing drastically!! I am just glad we will have the love and support of our families to get through this last semester of college and onto our lives after! We are very excited!

Our next doctors appointment is next Tuesday, the 18th. Hoping everything will still be great & my little glucose test will come back with no complications! Wish we were having another ultrasound! I wanna see our little man but my doctor has told me that I really won't have another one unless I am still carrying the baby after full term. I am happy to say that the only uncomfortable thing lately has been my backaches/headaches and just now I am starting to have trouble getting comfortable sleeping...but if these are the only things that happen I am a lucky woman! (And if anyone has any suggestions on how to get comfortable please feel free to share!)
